Interim MIS Systems Manager
Temporary | Contract
Location: London
Start date: 1 November 2026
About the Role
You'll take interim ownership of the management information systems function for a further education provider, making sure staff across the organisation can rely on accurate, timely data.
Working with teams across the provider, you'll oversee the student records system, maintain data quality and ensure reporting meets funding and regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining the organisation's MIS, including updates, maintenance and integrations with other systems.
- Ensuring accurate data entry, data quality and GDPR-compliant handling of information.
- Producing reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Supporting statutory returns and compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
- Providing training and support to staff using the systems.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience managing MIS within an education setting
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Confident communication with colleagues at all levels
- Full rights to work in the UK
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience of statutory returns and funding data
- Experience building reporting tools or dashboards
