Are you an experienced SEND professional with specialist experience supporting learners with sensory, physical or neurological needs?

We are seeking an Inclusion Coach – HI/VI/PNI Lead to provide specialist support to learners who are Deaf/hearing impaired, visually impaired or have physical and neurological impairments.

The Role

You will:

  • Coordinate specialist support for learners with HI, VI and PNI
  • Develop and review learner support plans and EHCP provision
  • Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions
  • Support learners to develop independence and self-advocacy
  • Advise teaching staff on inclusive practice and reasonable adjustments
  • Support transition and progression planning
  • Contribute to EHCP Annual Reviews
  • Work with external agencies, schools and specialist professionals
  • Support accessibility, assistive technology and appropriate risk assessments

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience supporting learners with SEND
  • Specialist experience with hearing, visual, physical or neurological needs
  • Experience in an education or training environment
  • Knowledge of inclusive strategies and reasonable adjustments
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent in education, SEND, health & social care or a related area
  • BSL, assistive technology or sensory-needs training would be advantageous
