HR Advisor
Temporary
Start date: 9 October 2026
About the role
An education provider is looking for an HR Advisor to join their team. You'll provide generalist HR advice to managers and staff, dealing with day-to-day queries and casework and making sure guidance given is accurate, consistent and in line with current employment law.
It's a role suited to someone confident working across a range of HR matters, who can balance practical problem-solving with good record-keeping and reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing generalist HR advice and guidance to managers and staff.
- Supporting HR casework through to resolution.
- Keeping advice in line with up-to-date employment law and current HR practice.
- Producing reports and analysing HR data.
- Engaging actively in the performance review process.
What we're looking for
Essential:
- Experience providing generalist HR advice
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and current HR practice
- Experience of producing reports and data analysis, including Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- Degree level or equivalent experience
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
