Head of Digital Infrastructure
Permanent
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £53,000 per annum
Are you an experienced IT leader ready to take charge of digital infrastructure and support services?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in the West Midlands as Head of Digital Infrastructure and Support, leading the teams responsible for keeping the organisation's digital services running smoothly and securely.
You'll take ownership of infrastructure, systems and support provision, ensuring staff and learners have reliable access to the technology they need to teach, learn and work effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the digital infrastructure and IT support teams.
- Overseeing the planning, maintenance and development of IT infrastructure and systems.
- Ensuring a high standard of IT support service for staff and learners.
- Managing IT security, data protection and system resilience.
- Leading on IT project delivery and digital strategy.
- Managing budgets and resources within the digital infrastructure function.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Significant experience leading IT infrastructure and support functions
- Experience managing and developing IT teams
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems and security
- Experience managing budgets and resources
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience within public sector
- A relevant IT or management qualification
