Female PE Teacher and Health & Social Care Teacher
Temporary | Contract
Start date: 14 October 2026
About the Role
Are you a qualified teacher able to deliver both PE and Health & Social Care?
We are recruiting a female PE and Health & Social Care Teacher to join a multi-academy trust. You'll teach across both subjects, supporting students to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence.
This role is open to female applicants only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across a range of abilities.
- Planning and delivering Health & Social Care lessons.
- Monitoring, assessing and tracking student progress.
- Managing behaviour and promoting positive engagement in lessons.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A recognised teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS, PGCE, Cert Ed or DET
- Strong subject knowledge in PE
- Ability to teach Health & Social Care
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience teaching Health & Social Care at GCSE or equivalent level
- Experience working across more than one subject area
