Fabrication and Welding Technician
Permanent, Part - Time
Hours: 18 Hours per week
Salary: £13,900 to £15,300
Location: South West London
Are you an experienced welding and fabrication professional looking for a new challenge?
About the Role
An education provider in London is seeking a Fabrication and Welding Technician to provide technical support within its welding and fabrication workshops. You'll help maintain a safe, well-organised and effective learning environment, and there's scope to support teaching and learning through coaching students in their practical skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support in welding and fabrication workshops.
- Maintaining a safe and organised learning environment.
- Assisting with stock control and the management of materials and equipment.
- Supporting the development of students' practical skills and understanding.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Level 2 qualification in Welding or Fabrication
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Good IT and administrative abilities
