Machining Engineering Lecturer – Further Education College – South West England
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum Pension: Up to 28% Teacher Pension Hours: Full time Contract: Permanent
Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for teaching? This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Machining Engineering Lecturer, delivering high-quality education to learners at Levels 1–3 in CNC, lathe, milling, and turning.
The Role: Teach and assess learners in Machining Engineering at Levels 1–3 Deliver engaging sessions on CNC, lathe, milling, and turning operations Support curriculum development, assessments, and student progress Inspire learners to develop practical skills and achieve their potential
Requirements: Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing qualification (or equivalent) Experience in teaching, assessing, or instructing learners Strong practical and technical knowledge in machining operations Enthusiasm for supporting and motivating students
