Employability Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the North West
About the Role
We're recruiting an Employability Lecturer on behalf of a further education provider in the North West. You'll deliver teaching and assessment across employability programmes, helping learners build the skills, confidence and experience they need to move into work or further study.
You'll plan engaging sessions, support learners through their qualifications and track their progress towards achievement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering sessions across employability programmes.
- Planning and preparing high-quality teaching, learning and assessment materials.
- Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback.
- Monitoring learner attendance, progress and achievement.
- Supporting learners to progress into employment or further study.
- Contributing to high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant qualification in employability or a related discipline
- Occupational experience you can bring into your teaching
- The ability to engage and motivate learners of differing abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- An assessor qualification
- Previous experience of teaching within further education
