Electrical Installation Lecturer
Temporary
Location: the East Midlands
Are you a qualified electrician ready to pass on your trade to the next generation?
About the Role
We're recruiting an Electrical Installation Lecturer for a further education provider in the East Midlands. You'll deliver practical workshop sessions and classroom theory across Electrical Installation programmes, supporting learners to build the technical skills employers are looking for.
You'll work alongside a team of industry-experienced colleagues, keeping course content current and learners on track to achieve.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across Electrical Installation courses.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities to support learner progression and achievement.
- Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
- Supporting learners in developing their technical skills and employability prospects.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical Installation
- Extensive industry experience in the electrical trade
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- An assessor qualification
