DSP Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the North West
Start date: 12 October 2026
Are you a digital and professional skills specialist who would enjoy passing on what you know to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in the North West as a DSP Lecturer, delivering teaching and assessment across digital and professional skills provision. You'll plan and prepare sessions that keep learners engaged, and you'll track their progress towards achievement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across DSP courses.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities that support learner progression.
- Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
- Supporting learners in building their technical skills and employability.
- Working collaboratively with a team of colleagues to maintain a supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject area
- Relevant industry experience
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience of teaching, assessing or instructing learners
- An assessor qualification
