Are you an experienced further education MIS, data and funding leader looking for your next senior appointment?

About the Role

You'll lead the MIS, data and funding function for a further education provider, taking responsibility for accurate and timely data across the organisation and for the funding returns that depend on it.

Working closely with senior leaders, you'll make sure systems, reporting and funding processes support curriculum planning, performance monitoring and compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the MIS, data and funding teams and their day-to-day delivery.
• Overseeing funding returns, claims and compliance with funding body requirements.
• Ensuring learner records and management information are accurate, timely and well maintained.
• Providing reporting and management information to support planning, performance tracking and income forecasting.
• Working with senior leaders and curriculum teams to support decision making.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Senior experience in MIS, data and funding within further education
• Strong knowledge of FE funding rules, returns and compliance
• Experience leading and developing MIS or data teams
• Confident working with senior leaders and curriculum colleagues
• Full right to work in the UK

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience of system implementation or improvement
• Experience of reporting and dashboard development

This could suit a current or recently experienced Director of MIS, Head of MIS, Head of Data and Funding or similar senior FE professional.
