Digital Construction Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber
Start date: 7 September 2026
Are you a construction professional with digital expertise who's ready to pass those skills on to the next generation?
About the Role
A further education provider in Yorkshire and the Humber is looking for a Digital Construction Lecturer to deliver teaching and practical sessions to post-16 learners.
You'll plan and deliver engaging sessions, adapting your approach to a range of abilities, and bring your industry knowledge into the classroom.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons and practical sessions in digital construction.
- Preparing schemes of work, resources and assessments.
- Assessing learner progress, marking work and giving constructive feedback.
- Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement.
- Working alongside curriculum colleagues and support staff to ensure inclusive practice.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Industry experience and/or qualifications in digital construction or a closely related area
- A recognised teaching qualification, or a genuine willingness to work towards one
- Strong classroom and workshop management
- A commitment to supporting learners from a range of backgrounds
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing within further education
- Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and maths
