CMI Level 3 First Line Management Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the West Midlands
Start date: 1 October 2026
Are you an experienced manager or management trainer looking to pass your expertise on to the next generation of team leaders?
About the Role
As a CMI Level 3 First Line Management Lecturer, you'll deliver the CMI Level 3 First Line Management programme for a further education provider, supporting learners to build the leadership and management skills they need in the workplace.
You'll plan and deliver engaging sessions, assess learner work against CMI requirements and work alongside the wider teaching team to maintain strong standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering CMI Level 3 First Line Management sessions.
- Assessing learner work in line with CMI requirements and providing constructive feedback.
- Tracking learner progress, achievement and retention.
- Supporting learners to apply their learning in the workplace.
- Contributing to curriculum planning and quality improvement.
- Keeping accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Management or leadership experience in a workplace setting
- Experience of delivering or assessing management qualifications
- A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience of delivering CMI programmes
- Previous experience within further education
- An assessor qualification
