Job Title: Carpentry Lecturer -----------------------------
Location: South West London Contract: Full-time, Permanent (37 hours, 52 weeks) Salary: Up to £43,267.53 per annum (depending on qualifications & experience)
Overview
An FE College is seeking a Carpentry Lecturer to deliver high-quality vocational programmes from Level 1 through to Level 3. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Carpentry professional or someone looking to move into teaching, with full support available to gain teaching qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging teaching across a range of Carpentry courses
- Assess, review and track learner progress
- Maintain accurate course and student records
- Embed employability and workplace skills into the curriculum
- Support learners to achieve and progress
Requirements
- NVQ 2/3 qualification with industry experience
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Passion for education and learner development
