Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer– Further Education
Salary: £35,000-45,000
Pension: Career average pension scheme
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Annual Leave: 58 days inclusive bank holidays

About the Role
Are you an experienced Carpenter, Joiner, Site Supervisor, or construction professional looking to pass on your skills and inspire the next generation of tradespeople? The Role
- Teach Carpentry and Joinery programmes from Entry Level to Level 3
- Deliver engaging classroom lessons and practical workshop sessions
- Support curriculum development and employer engagement activities where appropriate
- Develop learning resources and assess learner progress
- Prepare learners for employment, apprenticeships, and further study
Requirements
- A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Carpentry and Joinery or a related construction discipline
- Significant industry experience within Carpentry and Joinery
- Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- A passion for developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople
