Business Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: London
Are you an experienced business professional looking to share your expertise with the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in London, delivering teaching, learning and assessment across business programmes. You'll plan and prepare sessions that bring the subject to life, and help learners build the knowledge and skills they need to progress into employment or further study.
You'll work as part of a supportive team, contributing to curriculum development and making sure content reflects current industry practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across business courses.
- Planning and preparing lessons, resources and assessments.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Contributing to curriculum development so content aligns with current industry standards.
- Supporting learners to develop their employability and achieve their qualifications.
- Keeping accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification or higher in a relevant business subject
- Strong subject knowledge relevant to the programmes you'll be teaching
- Ability to adapt your teaching to learners of varying abilities
- A genuine passion for teaching and passing on your knowledge
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing in a further education setting
