Temporary

About the Role
A further education provider in the West Midlands is looking for a Business Lecturer to join its teaching team. You'll plan and deliver engaging business sessions, helping learners build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to progress in their studies and careers.
Alongside teaching, you'll assess learners' work, track their progress and contribute to curriculum development, making sure course content reflects current business practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across business courses.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities to support learner progression and achievement.
- Contributing to curriculum development, ensuring content remains current and relevant.
- Supporting learners to develop their technical skills and employability prospects.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant qualification in business, or equivalent occupational competence
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject
- The ability to engage and motivate learners of differing abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching in a further education setting
