Business Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the South East
Start date: 21 September 2026
Are you a business professional who would enjoy passing on your expertise to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in the South East, delivering business to learners and helping them build the knowledge and skills they need to progress into further study or employment.
You'll plan and deliver engaging sessions, assess learner work and track progress, working alongside a supportive team of colleagues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging business lessons that support learner achievement and progression.
- Planning schemes of work and learning activities suited to the needs of your group.
- Assessing learner work and providing timely, constructive feedback.
- Monitoring progress and keeping accurate records of attendance and achievement.
- Supporting learners academically and pastorally throughout their programme.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Strong subject knowledge in business
- Ability to plan, deliver and assess learning effectively
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A genuine interest in supporting learners to succeed
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous teaching or training experience
- Experience of working in a further education setting
