Business Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Start date: 10 September 2026
Are you a business specialist who enjoys helping learners connect classroom theory to the realities of the workplace?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider to deliver engaging, well-planned teaching across business programmes. You'll prepare and lead sessions that build learners' subject knowledge, commercial awareness and professional skills, and you'll support each learner to progress and complete their programme successfully.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive business sessions.
- Assessing and marking learner work in line with awarding body requirements.
- Monitoring learner progress and putting timely support in place where it is needed.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality assurance processes.
- Supporting curriculum development across the business provision.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A qualification in business or a closely related discipline
- Strong subject knowledge across business programmes
- Experience of teaching, training or assessing learners
- Ability to plan, assess and track learner progress
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Experience of working within a further education setting
