Business Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the East of England
Start date: 27 August 2026
Are you an experienced business professional ready to pass your knowledge on to the next generation?
About the role
You'll join a further education provider to deliver high-quality teaching across business programmes, bringing your sector experience into the classroom and helping learners build the knowledge and skills they need to progress into employment or further study.
You'll work as part of a supportive team, planning your lessons, assessing learner work to awarding body standards and keeping learners motivated and on track.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging business lessons across a range of levels.
- Planning lessons and developing industry-relevant learning materials.
- Assessing learner work to awarding body standards.
- Providing developmental feedback and monitoring learner progress.
- Supporting individual learner needs and maintaining accurate records.
What we're looking for
Essential:
- Level 3 qualification in business (or equivalent)
- Occupational experience within the business sector
- Good communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience teaching or assessing in further education
