A Level Maths Teacher
Temporary | Contract
Are you an A Level Maths teacher looking for your next opportunity within further education?
About the Role
We are recruiting an A Level Maths Teacher to join a further education provider. You'll deliver engaging A Level Mathematics lessons, supporting learners to build their subject knowledge, confidence and exam technique.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering A Level Maths lessons to learners across a range of abilities.
- Monitoring, assessing and tracking learner progress.
- Providing feedback and intervention to support learners towards their target grades.
- Supporting learners to achieve their A Level Mathematics qualification.
- Adapting your teaching to meet individual learner needs.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the maths team.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- A recognised teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS, PGCE, Cert Ed or DET
- Experience teaching A Level Maths
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Able to differentiate effectively for individual learner needs
